A space to reconnect with yourself

Hi, I’m Michelle, a Registered Psychologist and Director of Michelle Johnston Psychology based in Brisbane. I believe the decision to seek support is an act of courage and the beginning of understanding yourself more deeply. I create a calm and compassionate space where you can slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with yourself.

My areas of interest include:

  • Anxiety and mood concerns

  • Life transitions and adjustment

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma processing

  • Perinatal mental health

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Resilience building

Specific areas of interest which I am drawn to include:

  • Young Adults in Transition: Navigating career uncertainty, relationships, friendships, and self-discovery.

  • Mothers in Transition: Adjusting to motherhood, partnership dynamics, ambition, and self-worth.

  • Fertility & Reproductive Journeys: Infertility, pregnancy loss, and emotional impact of waiting and uncertainty.

“The greatest gift we can give someone is our presence.”
