About Michelle.
I bring a calm, attuned, and compassionate approach to therapy, creating a safe, containing, and non-judgemental space for you to explore your experiences. I value authentic human connection and work alongside my clients to help them feel understood and supported.
I work with people navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma and exploring personal growth. I also support people through perinatal challenges, alongside many other life changes.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-informed therapy. We explore patterns that may no longer serve you and practice new ways of coping, connecting with yourself and building resilience. Therapy with me is collaborative and reflective.
Therapeutic Philosophy
I believe change happens through curiosity, compassion, and connection. When you feel safe, seen, and understood, new relational experiences become possible. Over time, this can support greater self-trust, emotional regulation, and inner stability.
“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes”
- Carl Jung
How I Work
I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including:
Psychodynamic and Attachment Approach: Identify recurring themes, emotional triggers, and relational dynamics outside conscious awareness, offering insight and choice. The therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful space for growth.
Tailored Modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic & Nervous system awareness.
